We are so excited and thankful that you have taken the time to learn about us and consider us as parents for your child! There is no way we can completely understand how you feel or fully appreciate the challenging decision you will make. We trust that you will do what is right for you and for your child. We are Ben and Nicole and have been happily married since 2001. Early in our marriage we faced the disappointments of infertility but soon knew adoption to be the right path for us. This was fully confirmed by the adoption of our daughter, Emma, who is now 5 years old and our son, Elliot, who is 3 years old. These two children have brought nothing but pure joy to our lives. Nothing would make us happier than to receive another child into our hearts and home. 

Ben serves as a full-time Worship Minister at our church. Nicole, formerly a music teacher, now devotes her days to caring for Emma and Elliot. Ben’s flexible work schedule and close distance to our home allows us to share in a lot of quality family time.  We are fortunate to be able to experience those big and small events together, whether it’s a ballet recital or a doctor’s appointment. Our home is filled with smiles, laughter and lots of love. Emma and Elliot get along very well and constantly ask about our new baby. They eagerly await their new baby brother or sister.

As a family we enjoy a variety of fun activities. We make regular trips to the library, local parks, and have made good use of our season pass to the zoo. We like attending free concerts, fairs and festivals and on occasion, visits to museums. We love to travel and have taken multiple trips to Chicago. We love to do outdoor activities including going to parks and camping. Most of our fun happens day-to-day right at home. We keep busy playing outside in our large, fenced in back yard, or inside with toys, books, games, art, singing, dancing and the highly popular family movie night! We have discovered that everywhere we go and in everything we do there are always opportunities for learning valuable life lessons.

It has been a delight watching each of our children grow and develop their own uniqueness. Emma has enjoyed participating in soccer, ballet, preschool, and a number of other activities. Elliot has shown to have a love and aptitude for music – a trait he shares with his mom and dad. 

The children we adopt will know from the beginning that they were adopted, and will never doubt the love that brought them to our family. Our children will be taught that adoption is an act of unconditional love, not only by our family and us, but of you and your family as well. They will never hear anything but praise and gratitude for you and the loving decision you have made. We recognize the magnitude of the gift you are giving us through adoption and assure you it will never be taken for granted.
