Thank you for choosing to learn more about us! It is a courageous and selfless act to consider adoption for your child. We cannot imagine how difficult this must be for you. We hope that learning more about our family will help make your decision easier.
After several years of infertility, we made the decision to adopt. In May of 2008, we were blessed with our son, Quinn through adoption. For us, it is not about having biological children, but about being parents. We have nothing but respect and admiration for our birth family. They are wonderful people who gave us the most precious gift. We are eternally grateful to them. We always speak highly of our birth parents in our home, and we keep in contact with them through pictures and letters. We will share this same respect for you should you decide we are the right family.
Kim is 36 years old and is a loving and patient person. She is devoted to her husband and son. She is very proud to call herself a stay-at-home mom and loves the many activities she and Quinn do together. She taught kindergarten for 6 years prior to Quinn’s birth. She could not be happier spending her days with Quinn and looks forward to having another child to enjoy every day with.
Brian is also 36. He is a hard worker who has a sense of responsibility, a sense of appreciation of people, recognizes choices he has in life and uses his strengths. He is his own individual and accepts others for their individualities. He is a Forest Manager for the state of Ohio and has the rare opportunity of working outside in the woods. He is a wonderful father, and Quinn thinks he’s hilarious!
Quinn is two years old. His favorite activities include playing in the creek with Mommy and Daddy almost every day, going to the park several days a week, playing with his friends at play group, going to story time at the library, reading books, painting, coloring and playing with clay. Quinn has the opportunity to be with Kim all day long as he experiences new things and reaches milestones. Brian is home from work before 5:00 each day, and he is also here to participate in all of the experiences that go along with being a parent. We play outside every day, even when it snows. We have a large yard surrounded by woods and a creek.
We celebrate holidays and special occasions with both of our extended families. All members of our families love and cherish Quinn and are so happy to welcome another child.
Together, we have been happily married for almost nine years, and we are best friends. We are so thankful for each other and for Quinn. We do not take anything for granted and find joy in the day-to-day happenings of our life! Our hobbies include working in our vegetable garden, taking out our pontoon boat, and walking our dogs, Chance and Knuckles. Brian also enjoys woodworking and fishing. Kim likes to read and jog. We both love to cook! We sit down to dinner every night together and will carry on this tradition with our children.
Your child will experience many opportunities to learn and grow, and to become his or her own person. We will ensure that your child receives a quality education, has security and is loved unconditionally.
Through open adoption, you will have the opportunity to know how your child is doing as he/she grows and develops. Open adoption will allow all of us to come to an agreement in which we are all comfortable. We look forward to the possibility of meeting you!
