We’re Dave and Sara S., and we thank you for considering us as the adoptive parents for your baby. We are eager to welcome him or her with boundless love, tireless patience and a safe, happy home.

The choice to pursue an adoption plan could only be made by a selfless, brave, loving person—you. Your child will always know that your decision was motivated by generosity and love.

As for us, we were introduced by a mutual friend who was convinced we’d get married. She was right: We married in October 2001. We were excited to grow our family, but Sara had three miscarriages in 13 months, including two late-term losses. So, we decided to expand our family through adoption.

Dave is 34 and has one younger brother. A tax attorney for a large accounting firm, Dave unwinds with his favorite hobbies: sports, gardening, hiking and wine making. He is a patient, tender and devoted person.

Sara is 33 and an only child. She owns her own freelance marketing communications business and works from a home office. She enjoys knitting, cooking, NFL football and chocolate. Creative and empathetic, Sara is a nurturer at heart who lives to care for others.

We share our home with two sweet dogs and are blessed that both our sets of parents are alive and well. Additionally, we have three nieces and a nephew, and our families enjoy celebrating the holidays together.

We love to travel and explore new places, and look forward to seeing our favorite vacation spots through a child’s eyes. Any place with a beach is a hit with us, and we can’t wait to introduce our child to the fun of hunting for shells and building sand castles along the shore.
