Our names are Jason, Jennifer and Paytan. We are so grateful to you for taking the time to consider adoption and read about our family. No matter what decision you make for you and your baby, please know that we are so thankful to you for learning more about us. Our hope and dream to grow our family can only be fulfilled by the loving choice of adoption. We can’t imagine the courage and self-sacrifice that it takes to make this decision. The most important thing for you to know about us is that we always knew we wanted to be parents and that we will love this little girl or boy with our whole hearts. We will put their needs and wants before anything else and help them to reach all of their dreams. One other important thing about us is that we have been through the adoption process before. We have an open adoption with our little girl and we have maintained a good relationship with her birth mother. Our experience with Paytan’s adoption has re-enforced with us what a truly loving and courageous decision adoption is.

Jason… works at a small family run company. He has a B.S from the University of Cincinnati in Finance and Accounting. He also has an M.B.A from Xavier University. Jason enjoys being with his family, sports and being outdoors. He is a very loving, caring husband and father.

Jennifer… has a B.A in Communications from the University of Cincinnati. She works in marketing for a Fortune 500 company in downtown Cincinnati. Her job provides her a flexible work schedule. Her dream is to be a stay at home mom. Right now she works three days in the office and two days from home. Jennifer is a loving, generous, nurturing person who loves to be a wife and a mother.

We met while in college at the University of Cincinnati. We dated for about 3 ½ years before we were married in January of 2004. We knew right away that we wanted to start a family. We are both close to our extended families and they were very excited to see our family grow. We had no idea how our journey would begin or end, let alone all that we would go through during the process of trying to start a family. After trying to conceive for three years we adopted our beautiful daughter Paytan.  She was and is such a blessing in our lives. We love being her parents. We have an open adoption with her biological mom and we hope that as she grows up she can be close to her biological mom and sister. Through our experience with adoption we believe that open adoption is a great choice. 

We have a very close extended family. Both sets of our parents are still with us and well. Jennifer’s parents watch Paytan three days a week while she is working. They love being grandparents and can’t wait to welcome another child into the family. Paytan has a blast with Grandma and Grandpa!
