Hello. We cannot begin to understand the feelings you must be experiencing and the decisions you face about the future family of your child. Please know that we admire your courage and strength during this difficult time. We hope that you will find peace in whatever decisions you make for your child.

We write this letter to share with you a little bit about ourselves and our dreams for the future. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to share our story with you.

Our names are Jon and Molly. We have been married since 2001 and live in a suburb of Dayton, Ohio. We have two children. Nicholas was born in 2004, and Ethan was born and joined our family through an open adoption in 2007.

Jon is an engineer working in the aerospace industry. When he’s not working or hanging out with the boys, he enjoys movies, Texas Hold’em Poker and soccer.

Molly became a stay-at-home mom three years ago. She loves that her days are now filled with trains, Legos and bikes instead of conference calls and spreadsheets. She also enjoys cooking, scrapbooking and spending time with friends.

As a family we spend a lot of time hanging out enjoying the simple things in life like reading together, playing ball in the backyard or competing on the Wii. We like to explore the area we live in by hiking in the woods (the boys like to play in the creek!) and visiting different playgrounds. This year we joined a swim club and the boys are looking forward to a lazy summer at the pool. We also like to travel to visit family and friends; it seems like Molly is always planning our next weekend get-away.

We know the joys of becoming parents and love watching our children learn and grow. We want to be able to share our experiences with another child. We do not want the fact that we cannot have any more biological children to deter our dream of sharing our love with another child. We hope to adopt a child to complete our family and hope you consider our family as the adoptive family for your child.
