Meet Paul & Kayla B.
Dear Birth Parents,
Hello! We are so incredibly grateful you are taking the time to learn more about our family. We admire your courageous decision to choose adoption. We are excited for the day we can finally meet and learn more about you and your family! Adoption has always been a calling we wanted to pursue & after two years of infertility we knew this was our reminded desire. We are eager about wanting to share our love with you and your child and wish you peace along this journey.
We have recently celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary by moving into the same farmhouse where Paul’s grandparents raised 13 children. Being able to continue the tradition and memories on this farm is extra special to us. The same parish that also blessed our marriage is the one which we attend now on a weekly basis. We actually grew up 8 minutes from each other and continue to be blessed with having both of our families within the same distance. These close upbringings brought about similar values, love for Christ and family, and a desire to be in the fresh air of the country. Our dog Toby is also a very important part of our lives and we love him dearly. He enjoys all the extra land to run around on outside. His winning streak in tag and ability to mend our emotions brings us much joy and laughter.
Kayla, 28, works as a nurse practitioner, fostering her love of caring for others. She always has a smile on her face. Kayla finds great joy joining in with her nieces and nephew drawing, having tea parties, and exploring the outdoors. In her free time she enjoys walking the dog, hiking, reading a good book, sitting around the fire, practicing yoga, and diffusing essential oils.
Paul, 31, works as a support specialist for a software company. He graduated from Wright State with an organizational leadership degree and aspires to a management position. His true passion is alongside his father and brother on the family farm. He loves to cook and has earned the title of “Grill Master” in our families. In his free time he loves to give tractor rides to his nephew, watch Nascar, cheer on the Cubbies, and enjoy nights around the fire.
Close in miles and similar in values, our parents raised us to work hard, treat others with kindness, be thankful for everything, and always stay humble. We plan to instill these same values with our children.
If you choose us as adoptive parents, we promise to love your child with every ounce of our being. We will protect them, guide them, and support them in whatever they choose to do in life. Through open adoption, we hope you can continue to be an important part of our family and in the child’s life. Know that we will be praying for you constantly and hope that you are filled with strength, comfort, and peace through this journey no matter what you decide is best for your sweet baby.
