Hi!  We are Scott and Jennie and we want to thank you for allowing us to share a little about our lives with you. We have great respect for the courage it takes and the love you have for your child to consider an adoption plan.
    
We married in 2001 after dating for two years. We decided to wait a couple of years before having children so that we’d be financially ready and to give us some “couple time” before having children. Infertility threw a wrench into our plans, but we now know that there is a different plan for us.

     We both have successful careers that provide us with financial stability, but work is not our life. Scott manages software projects for an IT firm, while Jennie is an HR Director for a local company. We have flexible schedules and both plan to take time off after adopting.

     Some of our favorite things to do include traveling, cooking, reading, playing with our two cats, college basketball, and NFL football. Having a good sense of humor is important to us and while we’re serious about the things that matter, we find the positive and the humorous even in difficult situations.

     We love spending time with our eight nieces and nephews. We enjoy going to their soccer and basketball games, playing board games, hide and seek, or just visiting.

     While your child would be our first, we would love to give them a sibling down the road. We treasure the relationships we have with our brothers and sisters and we want that for our child as well.

We have a wonderful, happy life together and would love to open our hearts and our home to your child.
