Hello!

We are excited you have chosen to learn more about us - thank you for giving us the opportunity to share our lives with you. We realize you are making this decision with a heavy heart and hope that our story might provide encouragement and reassurance as you determine the best adoption plan for you and your child.

We are Steve and Jen and we have been married for three and a half fun-filled years. We are blessed to have two incredible children, Matthew and Leslie, from Steve’s previous marriage. They are caring and generous and are eager to share their home with a new baby brother or sister.  We love animals and have two spoiled pets; Daisy, a four year old English Mastiff, and Dixie, a very particular cat.
Although life is full of circumstances we don't expect, we trust that God has a plan for each of us. Through our faith, we believe the complications we face in having a child together are God's way of leading us on our path to adoption.
    
We are both out-going, active people. Steve is honest and hard-working with a witty sense of humor.  He is a wonderful, endearing father devoted to our family. Jen is kind and encouraging. She is organized and dependable and very much the "planner" of the family, balancing schedules and activities. Currently we work for the same company; Steve as a Machine Assembler and Jen as an International Customer Support Manager. In this position she values being able to learn about other cultures and use her bilingual skills (Spanish/English).

We thoroughly enjoy spending time with one another and with our kids - playing games, working on projects around the house, and hosting holiday gatherings or cookouts and corn-hole with our family and friends. We also enjoy various sporting events...Matthew plays for his middle school football team and Leslie has developed an interest in softball and volleyball, which she probably gets from Steve as he regularly plays in a volleyball league. While Steve prefers the NFL (Go Packers!), Jen prefers baseball and is an avid Cincinnati Reds fan.

We each have a sister and have close relationships with them and their families - we have six nieces and nephews between us. We are blessed to have all of our parents, and one set of grandparents still living, and all are very excited to welcome another grandchild into our family.

We are devoted to offering this child a life of unconditional love and support. We will raise him or her to cherish and respect the significance of your choice that brought us all together.
