Meet Alli & Scott R.

We were thrilled when we became parents through adoption in 2021, and we are now ready to adopt again. Thank you for taking the time to learn a bit about us and for considering us as potential parents for your baby. Hello. We are Alli and Scott. As we write, our hearts are pounding with excitement and emotion. Even before adopting for the first time, adoption had already been a big part of our lives. Scott has three adopted siblings, with whom we are close. From the moment we adopted our little girl, Crosby, in April 2021, our lives changed forever — all for the better.
We have loved every minute, and we can’t wait to see what the future brings. We both grew up with siblings and would like for Crosby to have a brother or sister to love, spend time with, get into trouble with, and share moments together.

We also simply want to welcome and love another little one. Our home and lives are stable, and we are fortunate to have families that are supportive, loving, joyful, and dependable. Bringing another child into our lives will be the greatest gift!
We have been a couple for 20 wonderful years, married for 16 of them. Our lives together have always been filled with love and laughter, and now that we are parents, there is even more joy! Our lives have definitely slowed down a bit, as we now focus on providing the best parenting possible. Alli is staying home with Crosby, while babysitting another little boy. We play, sing, and enjoy each other every day. In the evenings, we like to have supper as a family.
We have always enjoyed coaching and attending sporting events and other activities. Now we have a wonderful, cute sidekick, who seems to enjoy these activities as well. Crosby loves being around people and meeting our friends. We spend time outdoors, playing games, taking trips to the zoo, and vacationing in Hilton Head each summer. We also enjoy time with our families, who mean the world to us.

Our Home We recently moved to Marysville to be closer to Scott’s new job as athletic administrator. We live in a two-story home in a subdivision with two schools, parks, and a pool. It’s a peaceful neighborhood full of children. We enjoy the park and pool, both within walking distance of our home.
With Columbus close by, it’s easy to visit the zoo and enjoy the restaurants as well as all the other activities the city has to offer.
We promise to give your child a secure home and endless opportunities. We promise support, unconditional love, and unwavering encouragement so that your child is able to grow into the person they are meant to be — happy, healthy, flourishing, and capable of living a full life.

Our Family At a Glance
We live in the medium-size city of Marysville. We’ve been married since September 2006. Scott works at Jonathan Alder Local Schools as an athletic administrator. Alli is taking time away from being in the classroom to stay at home with Crosby. Alli continues to coach volleyball. Our hobbies include working with young adults through sports and activities, attending sporting events and concerts, working around our house, and spending time with family playing games, both inside and out. We believe that God works in mysterious ways and has led us to open our hearts, minds, and home to forming a relationship with you and to providing unconditional love and support for your/our child.
