Meet Alli & Scott R.
Thank you for taking the time to learn about us and for considering us as potential parents for your child. As you make this important decision, please know that we are ready to provide a loving home where this perfect little one may thrive and reach their dreams.
As we write, our hearts are pounding with excitement and emotion. We have been thinking about adoption for a few years. Adoption is already a big part of our lives — Scott has three adopted siblings, with whom we are very close.
We are extremely happy that our years together have prepared us so well to start a family. Our home and lives are stable, and we are fortunate to have families that are supportive, loving, joyful, and dependable. Above all, we are ready to love unconditionally with our entire hearts.

We have been a couple for 18 wonderful years, married for 14 of them. Our lives are filled with love and laughter, and, through our work, we have the joy of helping others succeed.
We coach high school sports, and on weekends you will often find us in the stands or on the sidelines of middle and high school sporting events.
About Alli I am quiet and independent, but with a huge heart — I care about others. I love my work as an Intervention Specialist, which involves helping students who struggle in school. I also love sports, coaching, attending sporting events, going to concerts, spending time with family, and visiting the beach.
Alli in Scott’s words: Alli is my soul mate and my best friend. Her number one concern is that others do well and succeed. She is an incredible teacher and coach. This is why I cannot wait for us to have kids, because I know that she will be an amazing mother.
About Scott I am outgoing and easy to talk to. Like Alli, I’m caring and enjoy seeing others succeed. I am currently a high school athletic director, a position I’ve had for 14 years and plan to pursue until retirement. I’ve played sports my entire life and I still love to play and stay competitive.
Scott in Alli’s words: Scott is my best friend. He is selfless, positive, trustworthy, funny, and hardworking! He goes out of his way to make people feel welcome. I love watching him with our nieces, who love their “Uncle Scott” to the moon and back. I can’t wait to see him love, support, and create special bonds with our children.
Our Home We decided to live in Bellefontaine because it is close to our jobs, and also because it’s a great place. We live in a ranch-style home on a cul-de-sac in a beautiful older subdivision. It’s a peaceful neighborhood with lots of kids. We are within walking distance of a park and community pool, and there is a ski lodge just five miles outside of town. We are also close to Columbus, where we shop and enjoy the restaurants as well as all the other activities the city has to offer.
We promise to give your child a secure home and endless opportunities. We promise support, unconditional love, and unwavering encouragement so that your child is able to grow into the person they are meant to be — happy, healthy, flourishing, and capable of living a full life.
Thank you again for taking this time. Words cannot express the gratitude we feel for this incredible gift you may be bestowing on us.
