Meet Chip & Tyler T.
We want to thank you for taking the time to read our profile and get to know more about our family. We are so grateful for the wonderful gift of adoption and pray for you often as you make plans for your child. We admire you and respect your decision to possibly choose an adoption plan and hope we may meet each other along the way.
Adoption is something that has always been near and dear to our hearts. We discussed adoption in college and found we both had a passion for making adoption a part of our family. We have faced challenges in our own reproductive journey, further cementing our desire to adopt. We value being open in adoption and making sure our child knows how important you are in our lives. We will always be honest with our child about where they came from and hope to build a loving relationship with you as well.
We met through friends in college in 2005 and have been together ever since. We were married in 2013 surrounded by family and friends and continue to grow closer each year. To us family is everything. We spend a lot of weekends with family and treasure our time together. We share many interests, especially our faith. We enjoy going to church each week and find prayer to be an important part of our daily routine. We love sports, music, travelling, and going to the movie theater. We also enjoy trips to the zoo, Cedar Point, and the many museums within driving distance to Columbus. We are involved in many community activities, especially with Chip’s job, and enjoy getting to know more about the tight knit community we live in.

About Chip. Chip works in an outpatient setting as a Family Physician. He has wanted to be a doctor since he was in elementary school and fifteen years of schooling later, he made his dream a reality. Chip values a work life balance and is fortunate enough to have three-day weekends. He loves to golf and go to local sporting events with Tyler. Chip enjoys listening to music and going to concerts several times a year. Chip’s parents live about an hour away and they visit one another often. He has a brother and sister, both who live out of state but are fun to visit, with his brother living outside of Chicago and his sister living in a suburb of Indianapolis. He has five nephews he loves to spend time with.
About Tyler. Tyler left her job to focus on their adoption and becoming a full time stay at home mom. Tyler has always wanted to be a mother and cannot wait to fill her days caring for a child, helping them learn and grow. She loves to cook and can often be found in the kitchen making everything “from scratch”. Tyler loves to stay active, especially going for walks around her neighborhood with Chip. She loves to read and is an avid collector of vinyl albums. In addition to her parents Tyler has three sisters, two nephews, and two nieces with one more on the way. Everyone in her family lives less than an hour away aside from her oldest sister who lives in Alabama, where they vacation several times a year. With that many people, holidays and family get togethers are always a lot of fun!
Pumpkin and Gremlin ready to play
Our Home. Our home is in a cozy community an hour north of Columbus. We bought our house last year and have put a lot of time and work into making it the perfect home for our growing family. We live in a charming neighborhood where we enjoy going on walks with our two dogs, Gremlin and Pumpkin. We love going to the local apple orchard in the summer and fall and picking fresh apples. We are thrilled to have a child to love and care for and take along on our adventures.
Thank you for taking the time to learn about our family.
