Meet Chrissy & Rob F.

Hello!

We are Chrissy and Rob. Thank you for considering us and taking the time to learn about our family. As you make your important decisions, we hope you will be able to see the love we have for each other, our families, and our future children.

We have spent many unsuccessful years trying to grow our family in the conventional way, and we both know that the time is right for us to adopt. We are excited to become parents and welcome a child into our home and family. We understand that you want the best for your child, and we are excited to offer him or her our unconditional love and an opportunity to thrive in a loving, healthy, safe and happy home. If we are chosen to become adoptive parents we will proudly speak of you and your courageous decision.

We met through a mutual friend and after two years of dating, married in 2008. Family is very important to both of us, and we each felt welcomed into the other’s family from the very beginning. We were raised with the same common core values, which we hope to instill in our children. We consider respect, compassion, and independence extremely important.

We are lucky to have our parents, siblings, and eight nieces and nephews all living nearby in Cleveland and Columbus. We enjoy getting together with our families for birthdays, holidays, cookouts, and vacations. We are blessed and grateful that we are able to be involved with our nieces and nephews and are able to attend their many community and athletic events.

Chrissy has a bachelor’s degree in health care management. Additionally, she recently graduated as a registered nurse and is excited to start working in a hospital helping patients and making a difference in their lives. At home, Chrissy enjoys crafting, home decorating, spending time outside in her garden, and having friends and family over to play cards or to simply spend a relaxing evening on the backyard deck.

Rob has a master’s degree from Ohio University and is in his 5th year at Hyland Software working in the Information Systems department. Rob loves working with technology and learning new things every day. At home, he enjoys being outdoors and can often be found doing yard work, tending to the garden, or working on something in the workshop in the garage. He has made several pieces of furniture for the house and enjoys working on home improvement projects.

We live in North Olmsted, Ohio, a suburb about 30 minutes west of downtown Cleveland. We enjoy visiting the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, going to The West Side Market in downtown Cleveland for fresh fruits and vegetables, exploring new local restaurants, and attending shows at Playhouse Square in the theater district.

We plan to raise our children in much the same way that we were raised. We have many great role models for parenting in our siblings and parents. Our home will be a safe place to grow and learn. We will teach our children the value of hard work and to always treat others with kindness, love and respect. We want our kids to have the skills and confidence to stand up for themselves, do what is right and never give up on their dreams. Above all, we promise our children unconditional love.
