Meet Jake & Holly M.

Adoptive family

Dear birthparents,

Thank you for letting us share a little bit about our family with you. We are Jake and Holly. We have been together for four years and happily married for three. We are excited to move forward with growing our family through adoption. We have a very loving relationship and so much love to share with a child.

About Holly Holly is the oldest of two children and grew up in a loving and supportive home in the small town of Urbana. She graduated from Bowling Green State University in 2005 with a Bachelor’s degree in Apparel Merchandising and Product Development and a double minor in Marketing and Dance Education. Following college, she opened The Studio for Cheer, Dance & Tumbling with 50 students. It has grown to over 250 students today, ranging in age from 2 to 18. Since Holly is self-employed, she will be able to be a stay-at-home mom during the day while continuing to run her business in the evening.

Holly is also an avid crafter and loves to work on crochet and sewing projects. She enjoys spending time with her family, especially her little nieces and nephew. She cannot wait to be a Mom and hopes to meet her little one soon!

About Jake Jake is the youngest of three children and grew up primarily in Urbana. Jake’s mother did an excellent job of raising three children on her own, providing a great example of putting family first and providing a loving home. Jake graduated from ITT Technical Institute with an Associate’s Degree in Computerated Drafting and Design. In 2012 he joined the US Army Reserves as an Interior Electrician. He is currently in his third year of working as a Press Operator and Laser Weld Operator in the Stamping Department at Honda Manufacturing and enjoys the challenge of building the Honda product of the future. He works third shift, so he will be able to provide child care in the evening while Holly is at The Studio.

Jake is a huge sports fan and loves to follow the Ohio State Buckeyes, the Cincinnati Bengals and the Columbus Blue Jackets. He also loves being outdoors, playing his guitar, and fishing. He is excited to be a father and can’t wait to share his love with a child.

Home & Family We live in Urbana on a six-acre property that holds our home and Holly’s Studio. We are just outside the city limits and love being close to everything in town, but still surrounded by farm land. We are blessed to have nearly all of our extended family close by. Jake’s mother Eleanor and Holly’s parents David and Lisa all live nearby and have plenty of first-hand experience being grandparents to their combined 11 grandchildren. Family is an important part of our lives. We have weekly dinners at Holly’s parents, Saturday lunches with Jake’s mother, and regular visits with our nieces and nephews. We are proud to call our small-town “home” and feel that it would be a great place to raise a child.

Dreams for our child We aim to provide the best life and opportunities for a child and will always support and love them as they grow. We will also be making a commitment to a child and the biological family to honor a child’s entire story. We will always do our best to raise them in an honest and loving Christian home. We are so thankful for your selfless love and want you to know that you are loved and supported in any decisions you may make.
