Meet Joel & Morgan T.
Hello!
We’re Joel and Morgan and we’re from Gahanna, Ohio!
We are so thankful you’re taking the time to read this. For many years, we have felt God calling us to grow our family through adoption.
Our Story
We (Joel and Morgan) met at a summer camp in 2012 and we married in 2013.
In 2016, we had our daughter Cooper. She is a sweet, fun, smart little girl who loves to play and be with her friends. Soon after she was born, Joel started a new job at a church. Joel is now the Lead Pastor at a Three Creeks Church in Gahanna, OH.
In 2018, we had our son Judah! He is a funny and happy little boy, and he loves playing with his sister and our dog Bear. After having Judah, we knew the next step for our family would be adoption. This wasn’t a new idea for us – it’s been something we’ve wanted to do for a long time.
In early 2020, we adopted a little girl named Willow! She is easy going, very sweet, and loves being with her brother and sister. We have been blessed with a healthy open adoption and feel that our lives and Willow’s have been made better by the relationship we have with her birthmother.
Our Community
We live in Gahanna and we love it! We are both very connected in our community. Joel regularly interacts with city and school officials and through our church, loves to find ways to serve people in our city. Morgan is in a local “Gahanna Moms” group, regularly goes to local events at parks and libraries, and loves going on walks through our neighborhood. We have great friends who live close by, our extended families are close enough to visit often, and there is so much to do in Columbus, near our home!
More about Joel (by Morgan):
My husband has an infectious personality and upon meeting him, people can’t help wanting to be around him (especially me). Upon meeting and dating him years ago, he made me feel valued and loved, and continues to do that same thing to this day. He’s a great Dad who takes a “hands on” approach to parenting. My love for him only continues to grow over the years, as well as my respect for him and how he leads our family.
More about Morgan (by Joel):
I don’t know of a person in the world who doesn’t respect and admire Morgan for her kindness and her character.
She loves to read, run, write, garden and be with our kids. She is an outstanding mother, and I’m so thankful she gets to stay at home with our kids. Many people comment on how well-behaved and kind our children are, and naturally, they have wonderful personalities, but I know that so much of that can be traced back to their Mom. She truly is a remarkable person with Godly character and a servant heart.
A Note to Our Child:
The Bible says that children are a gift from God and they are like “arrows in our quiver”. We haven’t met you yet, child, but we love you. You are a gift from God to us. We see our role in your life as the ones who are committed to raising you up, and “shooting you out like an arrow” into this world. We want to be steady “archers” – parents you can count on for all the days of your life – and we want to watch you fly. We can’t wait to have a front row seat to watch you grow into who God made you to be and have a life-changing impact in this world. We don’t even know you yet, but God does, and He has a wonderful plan for your life! We can’t wait to be a part of it!

We haven’t met you yet, but we’re thankful for you, and we want to love and support you more than you can imagine, both before and after your baby is born. We’re praying for you.

We work as a pastor and a stay-at-home mom.
Our hobbies include going on walks, trips to the park, spending time in our back yard, and being with our extended families.
We believe God creates and loves every child – and we desire to add one of them to our family through adoption.
