Meet Kyle & Libby L.

Dear Birthparent,

Hello! We are Kyle, Libby, Bennett, and Jacob! We hope this letter feels like us opening the door and inviting you in for a look around our lives and our home as we want you to feel comfortable and welcomed. You have been prayed for by our family and are respected for choosing to carry this child.

About Kyle and Libby

Kyle and Libby grew up in the same small town and attended the school where our parents all worked. Libby fell in love with Kyle’s confident yet gentle nature and Kyle with her faith, her beauty, and her tender heart. We were married in December of 2003.

Libby has always loved children, even as a young babysitter and a YMCA day camp counselor. After college, she worked as a physical therapist assistant while Kyle finished his schooling. When our first son Bennett was born, she fulfilled her dream of being home full-time.

Kyle comes from a long line of great dads. He is hands-on and makes time to play with and teach his kids — not only with words, but with actions. Kyle loves being a chiropractic physician because it allows him to help others.

Our lives changed in the best way in 2009 when our son Bennett was born. Bennett is full of energy with a heart to match. After several years of struggling to add to our family, in 2012 Jacob was born. His smile and his ability to start up a conversation make him a fast friend.

Family Matters

We live on a quiet street in a small town in western Ohio. We join our parents, who live a short drive away, for dinner nearly every week, and we also have great relationships with our siblings. But our family doesn’t end there. Our closest friends are part of our family, too, as are the members of our church. ALL of our family is thrilled at the chance to love another grandchild, cousin, nephew/niece and even friend!

As a family we just enjoy being together and having fun. We don’t take ourselves too seriously! While we look forward to vacations at the beach or a day at Disney, we also love playing in the front yard, taking bike rides, bowling, or sledding! We laugh a lot and we love a lot.

On adoption

Adoption has long been a part of our lives — several members of our families came to be through adoption. In more recent years we supported friends as their families have grown through adoption. We are thrilled and thankful to grow our family through adoption, too.
