Meet Nick & Joyce R.
Hello. We are Joyce and Nick, and we are grateful for the opportunity to introduce ourselves to you. Thank you for loving your child so much that you are willing to consider an adoption plan for him or her.
We met in 2006 and married two years later. We are so happy to have found one another and appreciate the years we have shared as a married couple. We had the great joy of adopting our son Noah, who will turn two in May, as an infant, and we now look forward to growing our family.
Our faith, friends, and local church family are the foundations of our lives. We came to Ohio in 2017 when Nick accepted a new pastoral position. We love the area, especially our new home and church family, who welcomed us warmly. We are also delighted to be located close to family.
About Nick by Joyce. Nick grew up in Flint, Michigan. His father and both of his grandfathers were factory workers and dedicated themselves to work, God, and family. He learned at a young age the value and importance of all three.
Nick is the oldest of three boys and was close to his grandparents who modeled for him what a true, Godly marriage looks like and what it looks like to faithfully love God and love people. Nick is caring, patient, hardworking, organized, loyal and responsible. He loves spending time with Noah and taking care of him. Noah loves his Da-Da and we are thankful that he works close to home, so he can come home for lunch often. Nick is a big sports fan and enjoys running and reading. Ice cream is also a big favorite of his!
About Joyce by Nick. Joyce grew up in Michigan also. She is the youngest of four siblings with two older sisters and one brother. Now they are older and are scattered around the world, but remain very close friends, in frequent contact thanks to technology and affordable plane tickets. Joyce is very close to her mom. Her father, whom she loved dearly, passed away about six years ago.
Joyce is a stay-at-home mom and loves going on walks and to the park with Noah and our dog, Bailey. She is generous, other-centered, caring, loving and has a sweet, approachable demeanor. She is an incredible mother to Noah.
Home & Family. Noah was born in North Carolina and we plan to continue our ongoing contact with his birth mom and brother. We will return to North Carolina to see them, as well as to visit our friends who live there. We really couldn’t imagine life without Noah. Full of life with a fun and outgoing personality, he loves being outside. He is very social and enjoys going to the nursery at church.
As a family we enjoy playing in the yard, taking walks, and going to our neighborhood park. Our dog Bailey joins in on the fun. She is an extremely easy going and laid back dog and is very good with kids. We enjoy vacations to the beach, visiting local cities, spending time in Florida, and traveling back to North Carolina and Michigan. Our local church is a big part of our lives, and we are thankful for the community we have there.
We believe that our greatest responsibility as parents is to raise our children to love and serve God and to love and serve people. Please know that even though we have never met you, we are praying for you and are thankful for you taking the time to read about us. We wish you peace and love.
